Waite Park Subway Store Robbed Sunday Evening

WAITE PARK – The Subway store in Waite Park was robbed last (Sunday) night.  Police say the incident happened just before 8:00 p.m. at 1301 2nd Street South.

A worker says the suspect demanded cash.  A weapon was implied, but was not displayed.  The worker gave him what he wanted, then was told to go into the back room.  The worker was not hurt.

The suspect is described as a black man about 6’2″, 255 pounds, wearing a black sweatshirt, black gloves, and black face mask.
