WAITE PARK - A five-hour stand off with police ended with no injuries.

Waite Park police were called to a home at 310 Sunwood Drive at about 11:20 last (Monday) night.

The victim told officers the suspect had pointed a rifle at him, after the victim and his wife showed-up to check on their daughter.  The daughter was allowed to leave with her parents.

While crisis negotiators talked with 31-year-old Nathan Erlandson, area homes were evacuated.  As he was being taken into custody Erlandson started to resist and had to be tased.  He was taken to the VA Hospital for evaluation.
