Waite Park Police Searching for Suspects in Parking Lot Assault

WAITE PARK -- Waite Park police responded to an assault Wednesday night.

The incident happened around 11:00 a.m. in the Home Depot parking lot, however the victim did not report the attack until about 7:00 p.m. that evening.

Police Chief Dave Bentrud says two male suspects drove through the parking lot and threw an object at the victim. The suspects then drove away towards Grizzly's restaurant.

Bentrud says the suspects are described as two white men with beards, wearing a hats, and driving a light colored pickup with loud a exhaust.
