Waite Park Police Investigating Fake Bomb Threat

WAITE PARK -- Waite Park police are investigating a bogus bomb threat.

Chief Dave Bentrud says an unknown caller stated there was a device inside the WACOSA building, and that it would "go off" at anytime.

The incident happened at about 6:00 a.m. this (Monday) morning.

Waite Park police and fire officials searched the building, but didn't find anything suspicious.  They were assisted by the Stearns County Sheriff's Department and St. Joseph police.
