Waite Park Police Investigate Armed Robbery

WAITE PARK -- Waite Park Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Casey's convenience store last night.

Police were called to the store at 561 10th Avenue South at about 8:00 p.m. A white man in his 20's about 5' 6" to 5' 8" entered the store with a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money.

The suspect got an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the store and headed northeast.

No one was hurt and police have not found the man.

The suspect was wearing a leather jacket with a hoodie pulled up, dark jeans, dark colored shoes and a ski mask.
