Waite Park Man Arrested After Deadly Crash in Pine County

PINE COUNTY – A Waite Park man has been arrested after a deadly crash in Pine County this weekend.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened at about 2:45 p.m. on Saturday on Highway 70.

Forty-eight-year-old Danny Kitterman of Waite Park was driving a Dodge Ram truck when he went through a stop sign and struck Toyota Prius.

The driver of the prius, 50-year-old William Joseph of Maplewood, was killed.  A passenger in the Prius was not hurt.

Kittmerman is suspected for driving drunk.  He’s being held in the Pine County Jail.
