Waite Park Kicks Off Family Fun Fest With Art and Tractor Show [VIDEO]

WAITE PARK -- The week-long Family Fun Fest kicked off Sunday with an artisan showcase and antique tractor show at Riverwood Mall in Waite Park.

The show featured several antique tractors from around the area and items crafted by local artisans.

"It's a fun event and people are just so friendly here," says Sandi Krueger of St. Cloud.

"I love to come down to see what's new -- every year they have something different -- I just love visiting and seeing what I can buy"

Artist Bud Netka of On The Road Art Work says the event is a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

"For a change, the sun's out -- that's the best part," Netka says. "I'm meeting a lot of good people today."

Family Fun Fest continues this week with a week-long medallion hunt and geocache contest beginning tomorrow (Monday).
