Waite Park 13AAA Wins First Game; Atkinson No-Hitter

The Waite Park youth baseball team won 3-0 over Westfield, Massachusetts in their first pool play game of the 13AAA Babe Ruth World Series in Kitsap, Washington.  Joey Atkinson threw a no hitter with 5 walks and 2 strikeouts to get the win. Atkinson also had 2 hits and 2 RBIs for the Silverstars.

Waite Park will play the host team from Kitsap, Washington at 7pm locally (9pm CT) tonight.
