I was joined today on WJON by "Vote Yes" Committee Co-Chair Barclay Carriar to talk about the District 742 Referendum vote on November 3.  He explained the cost of the project, the potential property tax increase for St. Cloud residents, the need for the new school, improvements at Apollo and improvements to security throughout the district.

Barclay said the total cost of the project is $167 Million, the cost of building a new Tech High School is $114 Million.  He said the cost to renovate the current Tech building is $155 Million.  Carriar said property tax increase to a single family home worth $150,000 would be $218 a year which would be approximately $19 a month.  More details available at voteyes742.org.
