Volunteers Needed For Stearns County Ski Patrol

STEARNS COUNTY - With the snow piling up, the Stearns County Parks Department is in need for people for its ski patrol team.

Cross-county ski patrol volunteers will provide information to skiers, record observations and provide assistance as needed.

All four Stearns County Parks have cross-country trails and need patrol volunteers. The parks include Kraemer Lake-Wildwood County Park, Mississippi County Park, Warner Lake and Quarry Park.

Ski patrol volunteers who patrol for two 2-hour sessions will get a free Quarry Park annual sticker. Ski Patrol starts on December 15th and goes through February.
