ST. CLOUD - The Minnesota State Senior Games are coming back to St. Cloud next weekend.

Organizer Lisa Braun says they're still looking for volunteers for a few of the events. It takes about 175 volunteers to help run all of the events.

There are 21 sports offered, along with cribbage and billiards.

The Senior Games open next Thursday, May 19th with a welcome social at Beaver Island Brewing Company. They run through Sunday, May 22nd.

A record 600-plus people have signed-up for this year's games. It's the second year in a row St. Cloud has hosted the event.

It's a national qualifier this year, so the top three finishers in each event can move on to the National Senior Games.

The Senior Games are open to people age 50, and older.
