Volunteers Cleanup Downtown St. Cloud [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD -- You may notice a cleaner looking area the next time you visit Downtown St. Cloud.

Around 50 volunteers are picking up trash Thursday from sidewalks and roadways to prepare for the Summer season.

Rob Ruprecht is volunteering with Rasmussen College in St. Cloud. He says the downtown area is very important to the city.

Each year, volunteers get together for a Spring and Fall cleanup effort. Ruprecht says these efforts go a long ways to helping promote business.

The event is being organized by the St. Cloud Downtown Council. The DTC has hosted the event for over 15 years.
