ST. CLOUD --  Nearly 100 people are expected to come out to receive free dental care this weekend at the Salvation Army.

Operation Grace Minnesota is offering free dental care at the St. Cloud Salvation Army today (Friday) from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and tomorrow (Saturday) from 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Volunteer dentists and hygienists will be able to do regular cleanings, fillings and extractions.

Salvation Army Community Development Director Jim Muellenbach says spots are filling up fast so be sure to call as soon as possible to make an appointment.

"We had pretty much all the appointments set up, then at the last moment another dentist and hygienist volunteered so we're able to fill some extra [spots]."  --Muellenbach

The Salvation Army is working with Operation Grace Minnesota to provide free dental care multiple times throughout the year. So far this is the second free two day dental care service offered this year and another service is planned for September.

If you would like to make an appointment call the Salvation Army at 320-257-7426 or if you are interested in becoming a volunteer hygienist or dentist you can sign up on the Operation Grace Minnesota website.
