Vikings Sign Free Agent Cornerback Captain Munnerlyn

MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Vikings have signed former Carolina Panthers cornerback Captain Munnerlyn.

Sources say the deal is for three years and worth up to $15 million.

The move immediately upgrades the Vikings pass-defense, which ranked 31st in the league in yards allowed in 2013.

Munnerlyn is 25-years-old and made 74 tackles, 3.5 sacks and two interceptions for the Panthers last season.
