Viking quarterback Donavan McNabb talked Wednesday about how he's looking at his mechanics as much as the next guy and doesn't understand why the media is focusing so much on his mechanics.  McNabb says the offense isn't as bad as what it's made out to be.

McNabb has a quarterback rating of 80, a completion percentage of 56.8 %, 4 touchdown passes and 2 interceptions in 5 games this season.  He has thrown for just 849 yards this season.

Receiver Bernard Berrian didn't want to talk about his 1-game suspension Wednesday.  Berrian was deactivated Sunday against Arizona for missing team meetings the previous week.  Berrian called the suspension "old news".  Berrian has just 2 catches for 37 yards this season.

The 1-4 Vikings play at 2-3 Chicago Sunday night at 7:20, pregame on WJON at 6:00.
