LONDON - The Vikings were victorious for the first time this season after defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers 34-27 at Wembley Stadium in London.

Vikings quarterback Matt Cassel had a nice performance starting in place of injured Christian Ponder, going 16 for 25 for 248 yards and two touchdowns.

Everson Griffen got Ben Roethlisberger to fumble on the six yard line with just 19 seconds left to seal the deal for the Vikings.

 

Adrian Peterson had a breakout game, running for 140 yards and two touchdowns off of 23 carries.

Greg Jennings caught two touchdown passes, Jerome Simpson also had an impressive game with seven receptions for 124 yards.

The Vikings move to 1-3 on the season. They will return home next week to take on the Carolina Panthers at noon on Sunday.
