BALTIMORE - A sluggish game on an icy field turned into an all-out sprint as the Vikings fell at the last second to the Baltimore Ravens for a 29-26 loss.

A grand total of 36 points were scored by both teams in the last 2:05 after a snowstorm in the first half slowed things down.

Joe Flacco threw a nine yard touchdown pass to Marlon Brown to seal a Ravens victory with four seconds remaining.
 
 
Before that, Cordarrelle Patterson caught a 79 yard touchdown pass from Matt Cassel to give the Vikings the lead with 45 seconds left.

Prior to that, Jacoby Jones returned a 77 yard kickoff for a touchdown for a Ravens lead.....and prior to that, Toby Gearhart plowed his way forward for a 41 yard touchdown run to give the Vikings the initial lead.

For the Vikings, Adrian Peterson had to be carted off the field with an ankle injury in the second quarter. Matt Cassel finished 17/38 for 265 yards and two touchdowns. Rookie wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson had a huge game, making five catches for 141 yards and a touchdown.

The Vikings are now 3-9-1 this season, they return home next week to host the Philadelphia Eagles. Game time is set for noon on Sunday.

The Baltimore Ravens improve to 7-6 with the victory and keep their playoff hopes alive. The Ravens travel to take on the Detroit Lions next Monday night.
