DALLAS - The Vikings put up a good fight, but couldn't hold on in the fourth quarter as they lost to the Dallas Cowboys 27-23.

Tony Romo connected with Dwayne Harris for the go-ahead touchdown with just 35 seconds left in the game. Romo finished 34/51 with 337 yards and two touchdowns.

Christian Ponder got the start for the Vikings, finishing 25/37 for 236 yards and a touchdown. Ponder looked more confident at times but also had an interception and wasn't able to get the ball into the end zone on a Hail Mary pass.

Adrian Peterson had a nice game on the ground with 25 carries for 140 yards and a touchdown.

The Vikings have now lost four straight and fall to 1-7 this season. They will return home Thursday night against the Washington Redskins. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
