The Vikings lost their 3rd straight game despite leading into the 4th quarter Sunday when Detroit came from behind to beat the Vikings 26-23 in overtime.  Ryan Longwell kicked a 49-yard field goal with 1:11 left in regulation to force overtime before Jason Hanson kicked the game-winning field goal in overtime for Detroit.  Minnesota led 20-0 at halftime.  Adrian Peterson ran for 78 yards and a touchdown, and Donavan McNabb threw for 211 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions for the Vikings.

Michael Jenkins led the Vikings with 9 catches for 88 yards and Visanthe Shiancoe had an 8-yard touchdown reception.  Calvin Johnson caught 2 touchdown passes from Mathew Stafford in the 2nd half for Detroit.  The Vikings are 0-3 while the Lions improve to 3-0.  Minnesota will play at 0-3 Kansas City next Sunday at noon, pregame on WJON at 11am.
