The Minnesota Vikings announced the signing of all three of their first round picks Thursday, the opening day of 2013 Training Camp in Mankato. Shariff Floyd, Xavier Rhodes and Cordarrelle Patterson will all be in camp in time for practice on Friday.

Floyd was the Vikings first of three first round picks in this year's draft. The 6'3", 305 lb defensive tackle was taken 23rd overall. Many mock drafts ahead of the April event had Floyd as a potential top-five pick.

Rhodes was selected 25th overall as a cornerback from Florida State. The 6'1", 210 lb corner is known as a physical defensive presence and is expected to develop into a top cornerback for the Vikings.

The Vikings gave up the farm to get Cordarrelle Patterson from Tennessee, moving up in the draft by trading four later selections to the New England Patriots. Patterson stands 6'2" and is likely to be the Vikings #1 downfield threat as time goes on.
