The Vikings and Minnesota State University-Mankato officials announced Monday that they are putting off the decision to have training camp in Mankato this season.  The two parties are optimistic that a new collective bargaining agreement will be agreed upon by NFL owner and players this week ending the 4-month long lockout.  The Vikings had set July 18 as the deadline to decide whether to have training camp in Mankato this season or not.

The Vikings are scheduled to report to training camp in Mankato on July 31.  NFL owners and the NFLPA are meeting in New York today and are hoping to reach an agreement before Thursday’s owners meetings in Atlanta where a new CBA could be ratified.
