Victor J. Rothstein, 79, St. Cloud

August 8, 1936 - December 21, 2015

Private family memorial services will take place for Victor Rothstein who died Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital. The Rev. Kermit Holl will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Victor was born in Richmond to Jacob & Lucille (Weisman) Rothstein. He served his country in the United States Army. He married Agnes Lahr on May 6, 1957 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond. He worked as a chef and in maintenance for many years at the Holiday Inn in St. Cloud. He also was active umpiring softball games for St. Cloud Rec for many years.

Survivors include his wife Agnes of St. Cloud; children, Tony (Mary Lieser) of Melrose; Denise (Ralph Feld) Laudenbach of Cold Spring; Janice (Todd) Canfield of Sauk Rapids; Allen (Jana) of Litchfield; Kristi (Clint) Schendzielos of St. Cloud; Diane (Mike) Zimmer of St. Joseph; brothers and sister, Sylvester, Andrew, Ansgar, Martin Rothstein, and Clara Heinze, as well as 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Roman, Bill, Mark, Ambrose, Ben, Christian, Mathias, Martha Torborg, Rosemary Fischer, and Louise Gohmann.
