VA Holds Ceremony for Iraq War Veterans and Families [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD – Veterans and their loved ones gathered together tonight at the VA Health Care System in tribute to the end of the Iraq War.
The evening included speakers and a reception, as well as a memory book for vets and their families for adding their own word and photos.
Mike Mynczywor is the VA’s Program Manager for the Operation Enduring and Iraqi Freedom department and one of the masters of the ceremony. He says this is a milestone that demands recognition.

Mynczywor says roughly 54% of Iraq vets seek the care they’re eligable for. Ultimately, he says, the goal is to remind vets and families that the VA will be there to support them whenever needed.
