LISTENING TO MUSIC CREATES PLEASURE

Listening to music is so powerful on your body feeling pleasure, that even the THOUGHT of listening to music can release dopamine in the body.

BALANCE YOUR EMOTIONS

Another great reason to listen to music, is to help you balance out your emotions. If you are feeling happy, listening to a happy song may make you even happier. Thus, if you listen to a heart felt song, it may make you feel more empathetic to others, or even feel more romantic, sad, or angry.

CHANGE YOUR PERCEPTION

Listening to music can also change your perception of things. In my case, when I'm listening to music, I'm more creative.  If I'm driving and listening to music, it can help me think of my own feelings, and thus, be more creative in the writing process.

MUSIC THERAPY

No surprise here. We all know that music therapy can help people with all kinds of difficulties. Music has been shown to help those suffering from anxiety, sleep disorders, depression and pain.
