UPDATE: Woman Burned While Lighting Camp Fire
SCANDIA VALLEY TOWNSHIP - The Morrison County Sheriff's Department has released the name of the woman who was burned at a camp fire last (Tuesday) night.
They say 44-year-old Kristi Stroeh from Luverne, Minnesota was attempting to light a campfire with camping fluid when a gust of wind blew the fuel on her. She caught on fire and was burned over a large portion of the front of her body.
Stroeh was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center by North Air Care.
The incident happened at about 7:10 p.m. at Auger's Resort in Scandia Township.
