PAYNESVILLE -- UPDATE: A community meeting in Paynesville put on by Patty and Jerry Wetterling has been postponed for tonight (Monday) due to weather.

The meeting was meant as a way to help central Minnesota residents cope with recent developments in their son's case.

Alison Feigh with the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center says they will provide details of the rescheduled meeting date when available.

Daniel James Heinrich was charged last month with four counts of child pornography possession and also named a person of interest in Jacob Wetterling‘s disappearance. Wetterling hasn’t been seen since he was abducted near his St. Joseph home on October 22nd, 1989.

A string of unsolved sexual assaults on young Paynesville boys preceded Jacob Wetterling’s disappearance.
