UPDATE – State Patrol Releases Name Of Boy Killed In Crash

LONG PRAIRIE – The State Patrol has released the name of the person killed in a two-vehicle crash near Long Prairie on Sunday.

Sixteen-year-old Jacob Karolus of Long Prairie was killed when his car collided with a pick-up driven by 36-year-old Kevin Carlson of Brainerd.  Carlson received minor injuries.

The incident happened at about 4:15 p.m. on Sunday on Highway 27, just east of Long Prairie.
