ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud has secured regular flights to Mesa, Arizona.

St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis says the Airline will provide flights two days a week from the St. Cloud Regional Airport to the Phoenix/Mesa Gateway Airport.

A formal announcement is expected to come tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon.

Earlier this summer, officials working to attract an airline announced they have secured more than $6-million in travel commitments, passing their goal of $5-million.

The St. Cloud Regional Airport has been without regular air service for about three years, when Delta Airlines pulled out of town in the fall of 2009.
