UPDATE: Shooting Suspect Transferred to HCMC

ROCKVILLE - The suspect in a deadly shooting in Rockville has been transferred to the Hennepin County Medical Center.

St. Cloud Hospital spokeswoman Jeanine Nistler confirms 28-year-old Marcus Barshaw of Walker has been transferred, but didn't have an update on his condition.  He was listed in critical condition on Sunday.

Sheriff John Sanner says he has a deputy stationed outside Barshaw's room at HCMC.

Barshaw was shot by a Stearns County Deputy at about 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.  He's accused of fatally shooting 30-year-old Jeffrey Schutz of Rockville at about 4:00 a.m. on Sunday.
