ZIMMERMAN -- Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott has released more information in the deaths of a mother and her two children.

The sheriff says a medical examiner's preliminary report shows 35-year-old Stephanie Shields' death was probable suicide. The deaths of the two children, 7-year-old Nolen Shields and his 6-year-old sister Josephine Shields were caused by freshwater drowning.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehensive Crime Lab and Sherburne County are handling the investigation. The final report on the mom's death along with additional toxicology reports need to be completed before additional information can be released.

Sheriff Brott says they are not looking for any suspects in the case and there is no public danger.

The mom and two kids were found dead inside their Zimmerman home on Easter Sunday by a neighbor.
