UPDATE: Police Identify I-94 Robbery Suspect

MAPLE GROVE – The Wright County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man authorities believe was involved in a string of armed robberies along I-94 from the Twin Cities to St. Cloud.

Douglas Gravelle was taken into custody by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office on October 17th.

Gravelle has been previously arrested and convicted for holding up a Sartell gas station in early 2012.

Authorities believe Gravelle is responsible for six holdups in the past, the latest being at a Burger King in Maple Grove on Wednesday.

Two others involved Burger Kings in Clearwater and Monticello. The other robberies were in St. Cloud, Big Lake, and another in Monticello.

The investigation is ongoing, more information will be provided as the investigation continues.
