Update – Officials Release Name Of Man Who Died During Marathon

ST. JOSEPH -- Officials at St. Cloud Hospital have identified the man who died while running in the Lake Wobegon Trail Marathon.

Deb Paul says it was 35-year-old Paul Melby of Byron. Melby went into cardiac arrest on the course on Saturday.

The course the runners were taking is considered flat and fast, winding through the towns of Holdingford, Albany, Avon and St. Joseph.
