UPDATE: Multiple Deaths in Mora Fire [VIDEO]

MORA  (AP) -A medical examiner's investigator says there are multiple deaths in a fire in the Kanabec County community of Mora.

The sheriff's department says the apartment fire was reported about 7 a.m. Thursday. Don Gorrie, chief investigator for the Ramsey County medical examiner, says his office is in contact with authorities in Kanabec County because it serves the county. Gorrie declined to say exactly how many people have died in the fire.

Mora Fire Chief Mike Anderson said it was a four-unit complex. He gave no other details.

Besides sheriff's deputies, the Mora and Ogilvie fire departments and Minnesota State Patrol responded to the scene.
