AURORA (AP) - Records show the man accused of fatally shooting a woman outside an American Legion post in St. Louis County was under a court order to have no contact with the victim.

Legion members say Julie Ann Hildreth was smoking in back of the Legion in Aurora when she was shot Sunday night. The 49-year-old woman died at Northern Pines Essentia Health Hospital.

Court records show the suspect had recently pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct stemming from a domestic incident with Hildreth. He was ordered not to have contact with her and was due to be sentenced Nov. 18.

The 51-year-old man was arrested at his father's home in Aurora and taken to the St. Louis County Jail in Virginia.
