UNDATED - The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for several counties in southern and central Minnesota through Sunday morning.  It includes the counties: Kandiyohi, McLeod, Meeker, Stearns, Wright, and Pope.

Heavy rainfall re-developing overnight with the possibility of one to three inches by Sunday morning.  Localized flooding in flood prone areas, and the potential of rapidly rising streams and ditches.

Showers and thunderstorms will develop later this (Saturday) afternoon and move across the region during the evening and overnight hours.

All modes of severe weather such as hail, wind, and a few tornadoes are possible initially. The strongest storms should be to the south and west of St. Cloud.

The storms will transition to more of a heavy rain event with flash flooding possible.

A few of the showers and thunderstorms may linger into Sunday afternoon.
