FOLEY - There will soon be more hen houses in parts of Benton County.

The Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a plan today (Tuesday) to allow chickens on property that's at least one acre.  The old ordinance required at least two acres.

Department of Development Director Joe Janish says residents will be able to have up to 10 chickens, but they must be confined to a cage.  Roosters are not allowed.
