UPDATE: Buffalo Woman Killed in Collision With Semi in Wright County

BUFFALO - One person is dead after a broadside crash in Wright County Wednesday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 87-year-old Lorraine Kurtz of Buffalo was killed when her car was hit broadside by a semi.

Reports say the incident happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. when Kurtz attempted to make a turn from Anderson Avenue onto southbound Highway 25 when her car was struck by a semi traveling northbound on the highway.

The driver of the semi, 32-year-old Korey Fritz of Ottertail, was not hurt in the crash.
