Kathy Johnson is the Adviser of the Student Council for Exceptional Children's Club. She says by building this playground parents of children with disabilities will get new hope.

Johnson says they have partnered with the Shane's Inspiration Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps communities design these types of playgrounds.

Shane's Inspiration will take the ideas from tonight's meeting and build a model of what the final product will look like.

Johnson says the community support has been important to the students involved.

The meeting will be held in Clemen's Hall at the Whitney Senior Center from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
