The United Way of Central Minnesota is planning a diverse event for a good local cause.

The Progressive Dinner Fundraiser, benefitting the Imagination Library, includes a multi-course banquet with foods from 16 different places around the world.

Guests will travel to the homes of local chefs for their meal, depending on the cuisine they choose.

Betty Schnettler is the Director of Partnerships & Services for Central Minnesota United Way.

She says the event, which is $100 per person, fulfills a very important mission for the United Way - early literacy.

The dinner is this Saturday, April 9th, and spots are filling up very fast. For more information or to buy a ticket, call 255-9731.
