ST. PAUL (AP) - Police say the man suspected of killing a Boston Scientific executive has been arrested without incident in Shakopee.

Police Chief Jeff Tate says in a statement that Lyle "Ty" Hoffman was arrested Thursday morning. He says police were called about 10:15 a.m. on a report of a suspicious man in the Southbridge Crossing Shopping Center near an Arby's restaurant. He says Hoffman was arrested there.

Hoffman is charged with killing his ex-boyfriend and business partner, Kelly Phillips, at an Arden Hills gas station Aug. 11. Hoffman had been the subject of several massive searches in the Minneapolis area in the weeks since.

Hoffman is also suspected of robbing a TCF Bank in Blaine on Aug. 30.
