Two Women Hurt in I-94 Crash

MONTICELLO -- Two women were taken to the hospital after their car went into a spin and crashed with a semi Monday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 19-year-old Paige Dobberstein of Rogers was westbound on I-94 near Monticello when a merging semi prompted her to hit the brakes. The snow covered roads caused the car to go into a spin. A second semi which was following Dobberstein was unable to stop in time and struck the car.

Dobberstein and her passenger, 22-year-old Megan Dobberstein were taken to Monticello Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
