Two Women Hurt in Crash Near Brownton

BROWNTON -- Two people were hurt in a rollover crash near Brownton in McLeod County yesterday (Saturday) afternoon.

The incident happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 212 and Lace Avenue.

The state patrol says 22-year-old Deanna Smith of Minneapolis was driving her truck with a trailer east on Highway 212 when she went into the ditch and rolled.

Smith and her passenger 49-year-old Debra King of Minneapolis both suffered from non-life threatening injuries.
