ST. PAUL - Governor Mark Dayton has appointed two Stearns County Attorneys to judgeships in Minnesota's Seventh Judicial District.

The two appointees are Matthew M. Quinn and Shan C. Wang. Quinn is currently the Chief Deputy Stearns County Attorney and Wang is the Assistant Chief of the Criminal Division in the Stearns County Attorney's Office.

Before Quinn was with the Stearns County Attorneys Office he was an adjunct professor at St. Cloud State University and First Assistant Mille Lacs County Attorney.

Wang was previously an Assistant Stearns County Attorney and judicial law clerk to the Honorable Regina M. Chu.

Quinn will be replacing the Honorable Vicki E. Landwehr and be will chambered at Milaca in Mille Lacs County. Wang is filling a new district courtship created in the Seventh Judicial District by the Minnesota Supreme Court, and will be chambered in St. Cloud in Stearns County.
