ST. PAUL - Officials at St. Paul's Central High School say two employees were hurt breaking up a cafeteria fight.

In a letter to parents, Principal Mary Mackbee wrote that the employees were breaking up the fight between two students in the lunchroom Friday.

A district official says one employee was tended to at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital for treatment.

St. Paul police responded to the fight. Police say two students were taken into custody.

According to the principal's letter, the district will provide additional counselors at the school Monday for students or staff.

The fight is the latest in a string of incidents at St. Paul high schools that have involved weapons on campus or fighting among students.
