Two Sartell Men Hurt in Crash on Riverside Avenue

SARTELL -- Two people were hurt in a crash near Sartell yesterday (Thursday) morning.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says the crash happened shortly after 11:30 a.m. in the intersection of Riverside Avenue and 17th Street north in Le Sauk Township.

Seventy-one-year-old Ralph Janski of Sartell was stopped facing northbound in his truck on Riverside Avenue waiting to make a left turn. At the same time 63-year-old Jerome Langer was driving his SUV northbound on Riverside Avenue, didn't stop and rear-ended Janski.

Both were injured in the crash, Langer was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital and treated for his injuries.
