UNDATED -- A strong weather system arrives late in the week and will bring two rounds of winter weather.

The first round will come on Wednesday night and Thursday.  This system is relatively warm and most of the precipitation should fall as rain or freezing rain on Thursday.  Ice accumulations could top out between a tenth and two tenths of an inch.

The second round of weather will be associated with colder temperatures and much better chances for accumulating snow on Friday.  There is a lot of energy with this disturbance -- but the placement of the heaviest snow is still uncertain.  However, several inches of snow does appear possible before diminishing Friday evening.
