BUFFALO -- Two people are hurt after their vehicle hit a deer near Buffalo this (Monday) afternoon in Wright County.

The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 55 and Eastwood Avenue.

The state patrol says 30-year-old Kristine Gosch, of Becker, was traveling on Highway 55 when she hit a large deer, which rolled up on the windshield causing injuries to Gosch and her front passenger 57-year-old Mitze Olson of Sartell.

Gosch and Olson were taken to Buffalo Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Three other passengers, 5-year-old Reese Gosch, 4-year-old Sari Gosch, and 1-year-old Griffin Gosch were not hurt.
