UPDATE: Sauk Rapids Man Killed In Crash

SAUK RAPIDS - The Minnesota State Patrol has released the name of the man killed in a crash in Sauk Rapids Monday. Eighty-eight-year-old Robert Aurelius of Sauk Rapids died in the crash.

The state patrol says 84-year-old Myron Handeland, of Royalton, was heading north on Highway 15 when he collided with Aurelius' vehicle traveling west on 18th Street. Handeland suffered non-life threatening injuries.

It happened just after 11:00 a.m.

The intersection of Highway 15 and 18th Street North will be closed Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. while the state patrol works to reconstruct the crash. All lanes of Highway 15 are expected to reopen by 11:00 a.m. Detours will be posted.
