Two People Hurt In Head On Crash In Meeker County

LITCHFIELD - The drivers of two vehicles were hurt in a head on crash in Meeker County. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at about 5:30 p.m. Monday on Highway 12.

A car driven by 30-year-old Charity Sanden of Dassel was going east. A car driven by 19-year-old Christopher Benford of Burnsville was going west, when he turned and struck Sanden's vehicle. Both were taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield with non life-threatening injuries.

Three other people involved in the crash were not hurt.
