UPDATE: Two People Found Dead In Becker Township

CLEAR LAKE TOWNSHIP -- Sherburne County officials are investigating an apparent murder suicide in the Clear Lake Township. It was reported earlier that the murder suicide happened in Becker Township.

Janell and Christopher Norrbom, both 47-years-old, were found dead at a Clear Lake residence.

County Sheriff Joel Brott says a man called 911 at about 1:30 p.m. Friday and told him he had shot his wife and was threatening to shoot himself.

Deputies on the scene in Clear Lake Township were able to talk with Christopher Norrbom by telephone, but negotiations broke down.

Officers then got into an attached garage where they discovered the body of Janell Norrbom. They entered the home 6:41 p.m. and found Christopher Norrbom dead.

Officials are not looking for any other suspect.
